Carbon

Paragon Water Systems uses only the finest activated coconut-based carbon for purer water filtration. Unlike bituminous-based coal solutions, activated coconut carbon block filters do not contain high levels of contaminates and dust fines, which can leach into water.

Cleaner Carbon. Smarter Filtration.

In addition, coconut-based carbon contains a lower inorganic ash content and more micropores for increased surface area and porosity. This significantly increases the capacity of your carbon block filter to absorb small molecules such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Activated coconut-based carbon is a green product for today’s environmentally conscious companies.

We manufacture the highest-quality certified blocks.

Paragon Water Systems is a global leader in carbon block manufacturing and can customize carbon block water filters to meet your needs and the ever-changing needs of the world.

“Charged” Non-Woven Media

Through the integration of innovative media with expert pleating, manufacturing, and inspection processes, our charged non-woven media provides a superior solution for the reduction of bacteria, viruses, cysts, colloids, some heavy metals, VOC’s, and chlorine. This design enables high-performance filtration with minimal pressure drop and significantly greater flow rates than conventional mechanical filters.

Hollow Fiber / Ultra-Filtration Membrane

Hollow Fiber Ultra-filtration (UF) uses a bundle of tube-like membranes to filter water and other fluids by size exclusion. The porous, semi-permeable walls of the hollow fibers reduce suspended solids, bacteria, and other microorganisms while allowing clean water to (permeate) to pass through. This technology is widely used in industrial, municipal, and residential water treatment, as well as in the biopharmaceutical industry.
